W&Hの定番ブレンド「SON」のドリップバッグ。
コロンビアの深煎り豆をベースに、グァテマラとエチオピアをブレンドいたしました。
深煎りらしいコクのある味わいは、ブラックでもミルクと合わせても、その日の気分で飲み方を楽しみたい方におすすめです。

コーヒー店ならよく見かけるドリップバッグ。
ですが、実は長らく、W&Hでは作らないでおこうと心に決めておりました。
だから、W&Hオープン以来約8年、ご要望は頂いておりましたが今まで作ってきませんでした。
なぜなら、「手軽に簡単に」という今の時代の流れの中で、「便利」と引き換えに体験しなくなったものことに、心満たされるものがあると思っているからです。

例えば、「手軽に簡単に便利に」と考えていたら、W&HのPICNICメニューは生まれませんでした。河川敷でコーヒーを飲みたいだけであれば、紙カップでも事足ります。でも、わざわざ簡易では無く、テーブルセットを自ら運び、手間暇かけてゆったりとした気持ちで飲むコーヒーは、味が美味しいだけでなく、心に美味しいと感じています。

ある日、ある方からオリジナルブレンド制作のご依頼を頂きました。そして、自身のライフスタイルをシェアするのに、普段コーヒーを自分で淹れたりしていない人にも届けたいというお話でした。
そこではたと気付きました。ふだん僕らは、豆を挽き、ハンドドリップでコーヒーを淹れます。淹れ慣れた僕らからすると、ドリップバッグは手軽で簡易な手段です。でも、思い返せば、まだ自身で豆からコーヒーを淹れたりしておらず、インスタントコーヒーなどでも満足していた遠い昔、ごくたまに誰かに頂いたドリップバッグで淹れるコーヒーは、いつもより手間暇をかけ、丁寧に淹れたコーヒーでした。美味しく満ち足りた気持ちになる一杯でした。

昔の自分に届けるように、まだ自身ではコーヒーを淹れられていない方へ、コーヒーのある暮らしの扉を開けることが出来たらとても嬉しく思います。

そのほか、毎日コーヒーを淹れるのが欠かせない方の、旅先などでの満足の一杯になれば幸いです。

Drip bags that you often see at coffee shops.
But actually, for a long time, we decided not to make them at W&H.
So, in the eight years since W&H opened, we have received many requests, but we have not made them until now.
This is because, in today's trend of "easily", we believe that there is something satisfying in what we no longer experience in exchange for "convenience".

For example, if we had thought "easily and conveniently", W&H's PICNIC menu would not have been created. If you just want to drink coffee on the riverbed, a paper cup will suffice. However, it is not a simple process, and the coffee that we take our time and effort to bring to the table and drink with a relaxed feeling is not only delicious, but also delicious to the heart.

One day, we received a request from someone to create an original blend. And she wanted to share her own lifestyle with people who don't usually brew their own coffee.
We found ourselves there. We usually grind the beans and brew coffee by hand drip. From us who are used to brewing, the drip bag is a handy and simple means. However, looking back, a long time ago, when we weren't able to brew coffee from beans ourselves and were satisfied with instant coffee, the coffee brewed with a drip bag that someone gave us occasionally was more than usual. It was a coffee that was carefully brewed with time and effort. It was a delicious and satisfying cup.

We would be very happy if we could open the door to a life with coffee for those who haven't brewed coffee yet, just like we deliver to our old selves.
