ここのところ、僕は息子とすこぶる仲が良い。
僕が子供の頃にやっていた遊びを一緒にやり始めたのがそのきっかけ。

僕が息子ぐらいの年齢だった頃の記憶を思い返せば、何でも知っていて何でも出来る近所の少し年上のお兄ちゃんと一緒に遊ぶのが嬉しくて、憧れ羨望の眼差しだったことを思い出す。
息子と一緒に遊んでいる時の僕は、そんな友達のような先輩みたいな関係で、過ぎてしまえば束の間かもしれないこの時間を慈しんでいる。

近所の少し年上のお兄ちゃんは、僕にとってはとにかく格好良い存在で、その一挙手一投足を目をキラキラさせて見ていた。だから、僕は息子に格好良いところを見せなくっちゃいけない。
この先息子が大きくなったって、憧れられる父で在りたいから、格好悪い背中は見せられないと今日も背伸び気味にがんばるのだろう。
そして、格好良い大人に育った息子に会いたいなと将来を楽しみにしている。

大人びてきた娘のこれからを思い作ったブレンド「LADY」と対をなす、まだまだ幼さの残る息子への期待を込めた新ブレンドに「GENTLEMAN」と名付けました。
ブレンド「SON」から大人な「GENTLEMAN」へ。暑い夏にぴったりなビターな喉越しのアイスコーヒー用ブレンドです。
キリッとした苦味のあるW&H一番の深煎り豆マンデリンに、ケニアの芳醇さを合わせ、コロンビアの甘みで後味を整えました。ビターな大人のアイスコーヒーをどうぞ。しっかりビターなお味がお好きな方には、ホットでも美味しくお飲み頂けます。

【W&H式アイスコーヒーの淹れ方（１杯だて）】

◯ 使用抽出器具
・ドリッパー：メリタCF-T 1×1（※詳細は商品ページをご参照下さい。）
・ペーパーフィルター：三洋産業NO-101（※詳細は商品ページをご参照下さい。）
・サーバー：氷が入りきる大きさであれば何でも可

◯ 抽出レシピ
・豆の量：20g
・挽き目：中挽き
・湯温：84℃
・氷：140g

① サーバーに氷140gを入れ、その上にドリッパーとペーパーフィルターをセットする。
② 中挽きの粉20gをペーパーフィルターに入れる。
③ 粉に満遍なくかかるように84℃のお湯を注ぎ入れ（30ml）、30秒蒸らす。
④ 均一の注ぐ量を保ちながら、「の」の字を書くように10秒間（30ml）注湯する。
⑤ 20秒間落ちるのを待つ。
⑥ ④〜⑤を合計で３回繰り返す。
⑦ ドリッパーを取り除き、かき混ぜてよく冷えたら完成。

Recently, I am very close to my son. The reason is that I started playing games when I was a kid with my son. Looking back on my memory when I was about my son's age, I was happy and admired to play with a little older friend in the neighborhood who knew everything and could do anything. When we are playing together, we may be like seniors like such friends. A little older friend in the neighborhood was just cool to me. So I have to show my son what I look good on. When my son grows up, I want to be a father who longs for him, so if I can't show my ugly back, I'm sure I'll do my best today. And I'm looking forward to seeing my son who grew up to be a wonderful adult.

We named "GENTLEMAN" a new blend that is paired with the blend "LADY" that was created with the future of our grown-up daughter in mind, with expectations for the future of our son.
From "SON" to the wonderful "GENTLEMAN". A bitter iced coffee blend perfect for hot summers. W&H's best deep roasted bean mandelin with a bitter taste is combined with the mellowness of Kenya, and the aftertaste is adjusted with the sweetness of Colombia. Have a bitter adult iced coffee.

[How to make W&H iced coffee (one cup)]

◯ Equipment used
・Dripper: Melitta NO-101 (please refer to the product page for details)
・Paper filter: Sanyo Sangyo (please refer to the product page for details)
・Server: Any size that can hold ice is fine

◯ Recipe
・Bean amount: 20g
・Grind: Medium grind
・Water temperature: 84℃
・Ice: 140g

① Put 140g of ice into the server and place the dripper and paper filter on top.
② Put 20g of medium ground powder into the paper filter.
③ Pour 84℃ hot water (30ml) so that the powder is evenly distributed, and let it steam for 30 seconds.
④ Pour hot water in a circular motion for 10 seconds (30ml) while maintaining an even pour amount.
⑤ Wait 20 seconds.
⑥ Repeat ④ to ⑤ a total of three times.
⑦ Remove the dripper, stir and let cool thoroughly and it's done.
